What is E-Waste ?

Unwanted electronic products that have become unusable in our lives are usually called e-waste. Computers, televisions, VCRs, mobiles, desktops, refrigerators, ACs, stereos, copiers, and fax machines are all part of our daily e-waste.

Although the first optimal disposal of unwanted electronics products began in the 1970s, much has changed since then, and many electronics products in particular are now being scrapped.

Where are the e-waste toxins hidden?

Modern electronics are safe when they are on the ground, but electronics contain some toxins, including beryllium, cadmium, mercury, and lead, which, when combined with soil, water, air, and wildlife, can cause serious damage to our environment.

When e-waste falls into a landfill in any way, it is able to enter the landfill if it dissolves within the microscopic mark. The last stage is when leaching of toxic substances accumulates in the soil below the landfill.

The e-waste that falls into the landfill becomes toxic when mixed with groundwater.
